Job Description: Product Costing Analyst Location: Thane, Maharashtra Department: Finance / Costing Reporting To: Director – Costing Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Costing Analyst to support our costing and financial planning functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cost accounting, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze product cost estimates including material, labor, and overhead. Perform variance analysis, including BOM vs. Work Order variance. Monitor and maintain standard cost across products and processes. Conduct product-wise and SKU-wise cost and margin analysis. Support cost audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and finance. Maintain and update costing models and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to product costing. Provide key MIS reports as required by management. Ensure accuracy and compliance in cost accounting records. Qualifications Education: CMA or CMA Inter qualified. Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in product costing or cost accounting. Skills Strong proficiency in Excel and Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, etc.). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Oracle ERP. Exposure to Power BI, Python, Macros, or other BI tools is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
