Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer with expertise in Java Spring Framework to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Micro Service Architecture, Database Design, and REST API.

Person should also be able to mentor/support a team of young Java Engineers. The role requires 50% Design & Coding and 50% Mentoring, Code & Design Reviews of team, Code Management & Build and Deploy

Responsibilities :

- Develop, design, and maintain Java-based Microservices architecture using Spring Framework

- Design and implement REST APIs that are scalable, efficient, and maintainable

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs

- Collaborate with other engineers and architects to ensure that the architecture is aligned with the company's strategic objectives

- Provide technical leadership to the team and mentor junior developers

- Create and maintain technical documentation for the systems and processes

- Conduct code reviews and ensure that the code adheres to best practices and standards

- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of the applications and infrastructure

- Manage the Transition from a Monolith project to a Java-based Microservices project

- Manage Code in git

- Work with DevOps team for Build and Deployment Support

- Help in Debugging Issues

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

- At least 5-8 years of experience in software development, design and architecture, with focus on Java Spring Framework

- Deep understanding of Micro Service Architecture, Database Design, and REST API

- Strong Development Experience in Java and Spring Framework

- Strong understanding of Database Design preferably MySQL

- AWS/Azure Cloud Native Development Experience

- Exposure to No SQL DataStores, Messaging, Cache etc will be a plus

- Understanding of API Gateway and Deployment Architectures

- Deep understanding of got and Code Management

- Exposure to Build management and pipelines

- Deployment using Docker, Kubernetes

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Experience with Agile development methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
