Inspect and verify the quality of incoming materials and components.Identify and manage supplier quality issues, coordinating corrective actions as needed.Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous quality improvements.Ensure adherence to quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)Utilize quality tools like 8D, FMEA, and SPC in problem-solving.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide feedback to suppliers regarding customer quality requirementsMaintain detailed records and documentation.Address customer complaints related to incoming quality, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.Participate in customer audits and provide necessary documentation to demonstrate quality compliance.Proficient in using and maintaining inspection instruments and gauges, such as calipers, micrometres and height gauges

Job Description:With Rexel India’s expanding MRO business in Chennai, we are managing an increased number of SKUs and serving critical clients such as Alstom Transport India, Faiveley Transport, and Alstom Australia. To ensure the highest quality standards and meet our customers' expectations, we need an Incoming Quality Engineer to focus on:Managing Customer Complaints : Address customer complaints related to part quality through root cause analysis and corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.Supplier Part Inspection : Conduct inspections of incoming supplier parts to verify conformity with our standards, reducing potential quality issues before dispatch to customers.Continuous Quality Improvement : Work closely with suppliers to improve part quality, based on customer feedback and inspection data.This role will help Rexel maintain quality consistency, meet increasing demand, and strengthen our reputation for reliability among key clients.
