You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative and high-quality products to market. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organization and ensure that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Quality Assurance and Control:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Utilize Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance production processes and reduce defects.
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control methodologies to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
- Problem Solving:
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and use quality tools such as FMEA and 8D Problem Solving to address and prevent recurring quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, including trends and metrics, and present findings to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection records, audit reports, and quality management system (QMS) documentation.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, conduct supplier audits, and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training to production staff on quality standards, procedures, and tools.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness within the organization.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Product Testing and Validation:
- Oversee product testing and validation processes to ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with R&D and engineering teams to address quality concerns during the product development phase.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven track record of implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Proficient in quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Continuous Improvement processes.
- Knowledge of various quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and 8D Problem Solving.
- Experience with quality inspection equipment and techniques (CMM, gauges, etc.).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
