About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at ADCI - Tamil Nadu. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases to assess product quality meets requirements for both Functional & Non-Functional aspects.
  • Create high-quality defects and work with developers to identify the root cause and resolve issues.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software against schedules.
  • Use professional software engineering practices & best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Develop, Execute and Maintain automation scripts to accommodate new feature releases and tools to shift-left code quality in the team.
  • Experience developing in Java, Swift, C++, Python or Javascript.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal/external teams and management on requirements and status updates.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in API & Mobile testing
  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
  • Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation
  • Experience testing back end services
  • Experience running or troubleshooting code in at least one modern programming language
  • Basic Knowledge of Generative AI, LLM and Machine Learning technologies
