Position: Assistant Manager – Brand Marketing
Location: Bangalore, India
Report to: Senior Manager, Brand Marketing
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic Brand Marketer to help us build and strengthen the Xiaomi brand in the Indian market. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand marketing strategies to build our brand awareness and drive consumer consideration and preference within the category.
Job Duties
- Own brand metrics aligned with the organization’s vision, translating brand strategy into brand plan and go-to-market strategy.
- Maintain the brand identity, image, messaging, and positioning across all marketing channels and assets.
- Plan and execute brand and product campaigns across traditional and digital channels to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate deeply with cross-functional teams (including Product Marketing, Partnerships, Growth Marketing, Content & Design, PR & Corp Comm, and Social Media) to launch campaigns.
- Work closely with creative agencies to brief and develop compelling brand assets and marketing collaterals for brand and product campaigns.
- Conduct consumer research and competitive analysis to identify brand growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative ideas into brand marketing strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience working on brands managing brand strategy and communications.
- Has a creative bent of mind, with the ability to generate ideas to drive brand awareness and visibility.
- High bias for action, with the judgment and drive to get things done, operate in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple moving parts and multiple stakeholders within tight deadlines.
- Has an analytical bent of mind and can understand data, cross-functional team management skills to liaison with both external agencies and internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in the consumer electronics or technology industry is desirable but not mandatory.
- Qualification – MBA, Marketing
