Job Summary
To perform the job successfully, the individual should be highly motivated and ambitious and provide timely and accurate guidance, support, and training to the team members. Possessing excellent communication, project and people management skills, and the ability to work independently, with minimum supervision. He/she must have proven ability to lead by example, consistently hit targets, improve best practices, and organize time efficiently for self and direct reports.
The Assistant Manager works with team members, consultants, managers, and Offshore Partner in U.S. to manage the PropertyPoint Assessor and Collectors Database, Good Understanding of Approaches to value as well as reconciliation and quality control methods, and review the work of self and peers as part of managing the engagements successfully. Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
People
Create a positive team experience by driving proactive tasks for the Practice.
Provide guidance and/or instructions to team members by identifying knowledge gaps.
Identify knowledge gaps and design training to ensure knowledge transfer to pass the Process Knowledge Test. Participate in training programs for new and senior members.
Acting as a role model for all employees by continuously exhibiting a high level of service and attention to detail in all tasks
Evaluate performance and provide accurate feedback and performance recommendations.
Drive ideas and suggestions received from team members and work with management towards implementation and results.
Continue to define performance benchmarks for the individual and team.
Assist with resolving any technical questions raised by team members.
Coordinate the feedback with TL and evaluate the performance of individuals. Conduct individual feedback sessions and provide constructive recommendations during the performance appraisals. Keep the manager and other groups informed.
Collaborate with leadership in India and the U.S. to identify new opportunities and coordinate with team members on successful transitions.
Proactively communicate any updates to the team.
Analyze the team requirements for additional staff and participate in the hiring process.
Develop and motivate the team with continuous mentoring and provide counseling and career guidance.
Client
Responsible for maintaining and driving KPIs assigned to the team.
Maintain regular and effective communication with the U.S. stakeholders on project deliverables.
Create reports and process metrics and prepare necessary project management tools as per stakeholders’ requirements.
Drive process and efficiency improvement efforts across the team.
Perform quality assurance as required.
Manage transitions of client(s) and business rules.
Assist Managers with preparation of presentations, deliverables, and reports.
Prepare/maintain the SOPs for all the required tasks within the process.
Gain a reputation within the team for being a subject-matter expert (i.e., advance Excel skills, technical knowledge)
Oversee monthly assignment process and report staffing availability.
Work closely with location leads and the U.S. stakeholders and manage new client transitions. Increase transitions percentage specified during goals discussion.
Review capacity planning for each team and work with Managers to plan for transitions.
Understand client requirements and bring efficiency to ensure smooth flow of process.
Drive process improvements and efficiency ideas suggested by team members to streamline the process.

Assists with new client transition calls/meetings, etc.
Expertise in preparing and reporting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards.
Review capacity reports from leads/staff and provide suggested resources/case assignments for monthly management reports.
Technical Skills
Exceptional skillset to maintain and analyze data using Microsoft® Excel.
Excellent in building presentations.
Project Management skills.
Expertise in MS Excel, MS Word, and PDF.
Education and Experience
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business.
At least 7 years of relevant experience, with minimum 2 years of people management experience.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills and excellent writing skills are required.
Work Environment
The current work hours are 2:00–11:00 p.m.; shift change is anticipated depending on the U.S. work hours/time zone and business needs. Candidate should be willing to work in any shift.
Required to do additional work hours based on the business priorities.
The position requires regular interaction with the U.S. teams via email and phone calls.
Standard indoor working environment.
