
IT Business Analyst Insurance/BFSI

To support Company's OE projects by active participation in Business Transformation Projects covering roles across Business Analysis, Consulting, Offshoring, Project Management & Process design/ Re-engineering (BPR). This multifaceted role entails real-world, value-added global consulting experience and offers opportunities to undertake Business related engagements.
The jobholder will lead or support projects with the below key responsibilities:
Consulting responsibilities:
• Take lead in meeting with customers when called upon and perform an initial assessment of
business problems
• Evaluate and Identify business opportunities within OE business groups, analyse and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes.
• Formulate recommendations for a business's structural change, efficiency, profits,
performance or perhaps all these areas with clients. This may include practice of techniques
like cost benefit analysis, payback period analysis & breakeven analysis.
Project Management responsibilities:
• Lead Consulting, Business Transformation or strategic Projects & Programmes and initiatives for the Company by making use of Project/Programme Management skills, providing
effective, value added and sustainable solutions.
• Complete all project/programme assignments taking accountability for project/programme
timelines and deliverables at each checkpoint of transition phase, troubleshooting and
problem resolution, conflict management, effective co-ordination and communication
management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the
assignments
• Assess the effect of change on the projects with respect to costs, timescale and resource
needs and report these appropriately.
Process Improvement & Business Analysis responsibilities:
• Continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities and applying OPEX /Lean
methodology / tools to implement solutions as per project requirements
• To work closely with business in order to gather and analyse requirements; while ensuring
that all processes, procedures, requirements and solutions are accurately documented to
enable superior levels of reporting and knowledge capture.
Customer Relationship Management Responsibilities
• Build good working relationships with the Customers and act as a first point of contact for
the engagement - Participate in Customer relationship meetings and proactively address any
risk/issues.
Other Responsibilities:
• Provide adequate guidance and mentor Associate Business Consultant and Business
Consultants to complete their tasks and take on complex activities through accountable
delegation
• Emphasize and encourage Associate Business Consultant and Business Consultants to take
up ownership of their own performance and development.
• Act as an escalation point/back up in the absence of Manager Business Consulting.
Qualification & Experience
• Graduate / postgraduate in any discipline
• 7+ years of overall experience in Consulting, Business change Projects, Business Analysis/
Project Management & Process Improvement in the insurance/BFSI domain.
• Experience should include setting up & managing end-to-end business transition projects
