You will work with a collaborative team leading, mentoring, and ensuring development efforts are well documented and delivered with quality. You will work with customer service owners, process owners and various service delivery groups and participate in demos and meetings in a professional and courteous manner. The Senior Technical Consultant is a highly experienced subject matter expert on network technologies with strong experience designing, developing, and deploying integrations with external third-party tools.

Responsibilities

Participate in project teams to design and deploy complex network solutions. Lead a team of technical delivery resources to deliver excellent customer outcomes.  Provide outstanding customer experiences, leading to repeat business. Lead in the architecture and design of complex solutions.  Lead and create written deliverables such as technical diagrams, executive presentations, as-builts, and technology roadmaps.  Lead customer facing technical demonstrations and working sessions. Influence team members and external customers regarding policies, best practices, and procedures.  Mentor junior staff and support project leadership.  Obtain and maintain certifications with associated qualifications

Qualifications

Cisco CCNP or higher Palo Alto PCNSE Advanced level route/switch/firewall design and architecture skills for complex customer environments. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP Fabric switching Cisco FTD, Palo Alto firewalls, or Fortinet firewalls Cisco Viptela, Palo Alto SD-WAN, or Fortinet SD-WAN Mastery in at least three technologies: Cisco ACI, Nexus Dashboard, VxLAN, Viptela; Palo Alto SD-WAN, Prisma Access; Fortinet SD-WAN, Aruba networking or wireless, Arista networking, VMware NSX Advanced understanding of wireless integrations. Cisco or Aruba preferred. Strong skill integrating with third party tools; depth of understanding around API. Ability to design multi-site, cloud integrated networks. Strong presentation skills. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to communicate with senior leadership. Strong project and situational awareness. Take ownership, leading projects to successful outcomes for our customers, on budget. Strong attention to detail, self-starter, desire to be challenged. Communication is critical Strong internal and external communication skills, both verbal and written.

Able to architect and lead deployment of moderately complex solutions. Communicate with external customers, which may include senior management, on matters that require explanation, interpretation, and / or advising. Participate in presales activities including scoping and positioning.  Identify new customer opportunities inside of the practice and engage pre-sales to begin new campaigns within the practice. Able to communicate beyond tactics and technology and can help customers management set strategic direction. A reliable resource for marketing on thought leadership pieces for their practice. Contribute to development of innovative and high impact solutions for complex customer programs. Work to influence direct team members, broader internal team, and external customers, possibly including senior management, to agree and accept new concepts, practices, and approaches. Provide an outstanding customer experience Hours are based upon US customers, alongside US after-hours implementations, including weekends.
