Job Title: Finance Account Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Account Head to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting functions. They will ensure compliance with financial regulations, develop financial strategies, and provide leadership to the finance team. The Finance Account Head will play a critical role in driving financial efficiency, transparency, and accountability across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgetary targets and report variances.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
  • Forecast financial trends and advise on strategic financial planning to support business growth.
  • Track and analyze budget vs. actual performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Accounting Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Financial Strategy:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize cash flow, minimize financial risk, and maximize profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Develop the skills and competencies of finance team members through training and development initiatives.
  • Audit and Compliance:
  • Coordinate annual financial audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in financial management, accounting, and reporting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced skills in financial software and ERP systems
  • Must have working knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
