Major Responsibilities:
Build out a best-in-class cost-plus accounting function through a combination of internal and external resources Re-evaluate all external vendor relationships related to the accounting and finance function and transition the work to the new partners Build out and oversee in-house accounting staff of - employees Manage month-end close and preparation of monthly financial statements Lead annual Indian statutory audit and assist with annual US GAAP audit Work with external consultants to ensure compliance with Indian tax & licensure regulations as well as the completion of annual transfer pricing study Evaluate and, if necessary, implement/improve accounting policies & internal controls. Oversee Treasury function & AP function Manage key business relationships Act as a key business partner to the rest of the organization, and provide strategic insight and support for key business decisionsEducation & Work Experience (Required) :
A total of – years, ideally started his or her career in public accounting and then transitioned to industry (big preferred, or other global firms such as BDO) Chartered Accountant will be preferred Experience with cost-plus environment is preferred or considered a “plus” Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred Proven experience in a senior finance role, with at least (X) years of experience in a managerial capacity Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, as well as accounting software Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and developing a team Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsNote :
