Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Accounting Tasks:

  2. Record and process day-to-day financial transactions in Tally ERP.

  3. Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.

  4. Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash management.

  5. Tax Compliance:

  6. Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

  7. Ensure accurate calculation of taxes and timely submission of payments.

  8. Financial Records Management:

  9. Maintain and update financial data in accounting software.

  10. Ensure all invoices, receipts, and vouchers are properly documented and filed.

  11. Support in Financial Reporting:

  12. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  13. Help in the preparation of budgets and expense tracking.

  14. Auditing Support:

  15. Support internal and external audits by providing required data and documentation.

  16. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

  17. Excel Work:

  18. Use MS Excel for data entry, creating reports, and analyzing financial data.

  19. Work with formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other basic tax regulations in India.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior internship or work experience in accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
