Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates or those with a passion for coaching who want to make a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities. The Sports Coach will be responsible for delivering personalized coaching sessions, guiding children in developing their sports skills, and fostering an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in adaptive sports coaching sessions for children with disabilities, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and guidance.
  • Design and implement engaging sports drills and activities that accommodate varying levels of ability.
  • Monitor the progress and development of each child, providing regular feedback and encouragement.
  • Work closely with other coaches, volunteers, and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, adhering to the highest standards of care and supervision.
  • Collaborate with parents to understand the unique needs of each child and provide tailored coaching accordingly.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating sports events, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and progress for each child.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Basic knowledge of sports coaching techniques and adaptive sports for children with disabilities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt coaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
