Designation: General Manager - CoE
Location: Ahmedabad, INDIA
Experience: 15-18 years (3+ years on a lead role)
Role Overview: The Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead's primary responsibility will be to lead, manage and grow the Centre of Excellence, setting the standards and policies of the CoE and ensuring that they align with the strategic outcomes of the Operating Model & delivery .
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and execute CoE priorities in collaboration with peers, SBU Head, and CXO team.
Drive the implementation of the CoE strategy and lead the design and implementation of a common program management methodology, standards, and tools to facilitate successful project delivery.
Identify and define the major strategic issues for the BU, integrating diverse stakeholder interests with BNB's broader agenda to inform program initiatives and mitigate risks .
Lead the execution of a CoE governance, reporting, and review framework to provide a holistic view of organizational project activity and manage interdependencies .
Lead strategic and business planning processes, aligning division priorities and resources to support BNB and individual BU's shared objectives .
Implement strategic plans and optimize operational performance with appropriate controls and processes across the CoE .
Drive and evaluate operational performance outcomes contributing to the achievement of the BNB Group's strategy .
Foster a culture that drives high performance, collaboration, agility, and accountability in the delivery of business outcomes .
Lead, motivate, and mentor the team, monitoring performance and ensuring staff development.
Qualifications and Skills:
Eligibility requirements include managing a business size of 300-500 Mn USD for at least 3 years, experience in Retail, Pharma, Distribution, and Real Estate sectors, and managing a CoE of 150+ FTE with 5-10 direct reports .
Preferred qualifications include an MBA, Lean Six Sigma BB, Scrum Master, Certified BI Analyst, and Project Management Certification .
Reporting and Stakeholder Management:
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the role requires providing high-level strategic and authoritative advice to influence and inform strategic decisions and initiatives .
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including CXO, BU Heads, Reporting Staff, BU Staff, and FLG Staff .
Establish effective networks with external consultants for performance benchmarking and industry trend monitoring
