Job Description :


Test Analyst with 3-5 years total QE exp having the below mentioned skill set :


- College graduate degree from a reputed institute

- Strong academic background & Good communication skills.

- Good reasoning and analytical skills

- Should have good knowledge of API testing

- Should have Knowledge of Mainframe testing

- Automation experience of any tool is must

- Should have good understanding of Testing Methodologies

- Should have sound knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile.

Role Definition :

- I develop, support, deploy and/or test basic technology solutions of limited scale.

- I work with supervision and guidance and apply basic engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables.

- I understand the software requirements and ensure its translated into good quality production - ready code basis provided design & instructions.

- I understand the defined scope and timelines and deliver quality deliverable within the estimated time.

- I attend and actively participate in the team ceremonies.

Technical Skills :


- Basic engineering, system administration / provisioning, quality engineering (QE) and support


- Ability to design low complexity automation scripts with zero error (e.g.- using existing automation tools, frameworks), written to be reused/executed and having low maintenance requirements, over time

- Understands basics of QE practices, and any 1 Sunlife approved automation tool like TOSCA

- Basic understanding and ability to utilize multiple software development methodologies e.g., AWS cloud testing

- Escalating issues or redirecting enquiries in a timely and efficient fashion.

- Following up with customers when we say we will and delivering on our commitments

- Works under general supervision on day to day matters.

- Understands our Business

- Enhances understanding about the business of SLF (e.g. products and services, org structure, key competitors)

- Understands how his/her role relates to the Business Unit/ Function's objectives
