Job Title : Business Manager - Oil AdditivesBusiness Line : Oil AdditivesEntity : Evonik India, ThaneReporting To : Business Director – Oil AdditivesPurpose of the position:- Product promotion for Business line Oil Additives in the Indian subcontinent.- Mediation between the seller/production company and the customer in the area.- Acting as a communicator between the principal and the customer in the area.Key Responsibilities:- The main task for this position is to achieve challenging targets of Oil Additives business in India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh, in terms of maintaining & growing the existing business profitably.- To create quick and trustful relations with customers at different levels in the organization and acquisition of new customers.- To pick up new ideas and market needs and recommend smart solutions for the use of our products.- OEM management: Responsible for OEM and Industry Liaison activities. Identifying potential target Indian OEM's within the Automotive industry & the industrial segment & work with them for promoting Evonik Oil Additive technologies / initiatives including extensive field trials.- Channel Management: Responsible for deciding on the most effective sales channel for customers and segments in the region, selection, management and evaluation of agents and distributors.- The responsibilities also include close co-ordination & co-operation within the global organization supported by spirit of teamwork.- Work closely with departments of principals, e.g. key
