Overview: The ShopifyDeveloper plays a crucial role in our organization responsible forcreating and maintaining the design and functionality of ourecommerce store. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless andoptimized online shopping experience for our customers as well asdriving business growth through effective websitedevelopment.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Collaborate withthe design and marketing teams to implement visual and interactiveelements that engage customers
  • CustomizeShopify themes and create custom web functionality using LiquidHTML CSS and JavaScript
  • Optimize websiteperformance and user experience ensuring mobile responsiveness andcrossbrowser compatibility
  • Integrate thirdpartyapps and plugins to enhance sitefunctionality
  • Manage product informationinventory and orders within the Shopifyplatform
  • Conduct website testingtroubleshooting and debugging
  • Stay updated onShopify and ecommerce industry trends to implement bestpractices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders togather requirements and translate them into technicalsolutions
  • Execute SEO best practices to improvethe websites search engine visibility
  • Monitorsite security and implement necessary measures to protect customerdata
  • Provide technical support and training tostaff on using the Shopify platform
  • Participatein the planning and execution of website updates andredesigns
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of ecommerce processes andstrategies
  • Generate and analyze reports onwebsite performance and user behavior
  • Ensurecompliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR andPCI
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Web Development or a relatedfield
  • Proven experience as a Shopify developeror in a similar role
  • Proficiency in ShopifyLiquid templating language
  • Strong understandingof frontend technologies including HTML CSS andJavaScript
  • Experience with responsive designand mobile optimization
  • Familiarity withecommerce platforms and concepts
  • Ability tocustomize and maintain Shopify themes andplugins
  • Knowledge of web analytics and SEOprinciples
  • Excellent problemsolving andtroubleshooting skills
  • Effective communicationand teamwork abilities
  • Understanding of websecurity best practices
  • Experience inintegrating thirdparty APIs andapplications
  • Detailoriented and able to managemultiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability toadapt to new tools and technologies
  • Solidunderstanding of crossbrowsercompatibility
