About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Contract and Procurement General Manager to spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. You will be a supply chain and logistics expert who will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role. You will be expected to work independently and manage all current and upcoming procurement needs for our properties in – Gurugram, Goa.
What You Will Be Doing
:
Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effectiveSourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendorsNegotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous termsReviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibilityBuilding and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliersApproving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and servicesPerforming risk assessments on potential contracts and agreementsControlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costsPreparing procurement reports
What You Bring To The Table
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration or related fieldProven experience managing supply chain operationsExperience using supply chain management software and toolsIn-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation termsExcellent multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksGreat interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh degree of professional ethics and integrity
