As General Manager, India, for our Global Emerging Markets (GEM) business unit you will be the country commercial leader for Convatec's businesses with full accountability of driving sustainable long-term topline and market share growth, and profitability in line with Convatec's global strategy. As member of the GEM leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the country business strategy, optimizing resource allocation, driving the development of critical competitive capabilities, and overseeing financial stewardship to achieve accelerated growth
Your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering/exceeding financial targets (sales revenue, gross margin and profit) Leadership and development of the leadership team on key people processes and capability building initiatives to ensure an effective workforce, and a sustainable future talent pipeline for Convatec globally Influence cross-functional teams to incorporate and leverage strategies to accelerate business performance while ensuring compliance to corporate policies and standards, and external laws and regulations Driving improvements in standard of care and exceptional customer experience Building local strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, partners and stakeholders Leveraging and expanding patient programs, increasing patient retention and acquiring new consumer starts (Omnichannel) Developing new sources of growth to support sustainable profitable growth and increased competitiveness. Driving excellence in the execution of new product launches and establish strong governance to ensure effective and efficient implementation of plansTo be successful you will have:
Extensive general management experience with P&L accountability, preferably from within the healthcare or medtech industry A proven track record in effectively translating changes in regulatory or business landscape into regional and local commercial strategies Working knowledge of the economic and political environments as well as healthcare systems and regulations of the country Outstanding commercial acumen with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and results focus, able to identify and translate ideas into revenue opportunities to deliver sustainable long-term growth in the country Experience in managing a geographically dispersed team to create high-performance team effectiveness Well developed relationship building and influencing skills across a range of stakeholders and leaders with the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a matrix structure A continuous improvement drive with demonstrated delivery of improvements to customer support processes and ways of workingOur ambitions will bring the very best out in you.
