The Manager – Research & Proposal Management will play a pivotal role within impactDash's research team by

1) creating and maintaining a proposal pipeline,

2) managing the end-to-end proposal development process with the clients and other stakeholders.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, partners, and donors to develop and execute crisp, compelling proposals aligned with the organization's mission in social and climate impact.

You will need attention to detail, a collaborative attitude and a can-do approach to work.

The pay range for this position is between 11 LPA - 15 LPA commensurate with experience.

It is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

- Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on research opportunities, sector landscapes, and policy trends related to social and climate impact. - Proposal Development & Supervision: Cultivate a good pool of freelance proposal writers divided by thematic expertise, supervise high-quality proposals, concept notes, and grant applications for institutional donors, foundations, and corporate partners. - Client Management: Be responsible for client relationships and ensure that there is clear pitching and communication at the proposal. - Project Management: Oversee the proposal development lifecycle, including budgeting, compliance, and submission timelines. - Knowledge Management: Maintain a repository of research insights, proposal templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Presentation & Design abilities: You will be required to present proposals before the client, maintain and cultivate relationships, network and regularly evaluate strategies on presentation, rate of conversion of proposals and work with the leadership to achieve maximum success.

Qualifications & Skills

- PhD/ Master's degree in International Development, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in research, proposal writing, and fundraising within the social or climate impact sector. - Programmatic experience in impact measurement, MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning), and data analysis. - Strong understanding of donor landscapes, funding mechanisms, and proposal guidelines for foundations, bilateral/multilateral agencies, and corporate donors. - Experience with content writing: Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment. - Tech proficient: Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, SaaS platforms, research tools, and Google Office Suite. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working in the non-profit, social enterprise, or impact investment sector. - Familiarity with climate finance, ESG frameworks, and sustainable development goals (SDGs).
