Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Developer to join a life sciences digital transformation program focused on optimizing end-to-end supply chain planning. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple IBP modules including Supply Chain Control Tower, Demand Planning, and Inventory Optimization, supporting a global SAP S/4HANA landscape rollout.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and configure solutions in SAP IBP to support supply chain visibility, forecasting, and inventory optimization.
• Build and enhance planning areas, key figures, planning views, and configuration settings across relevant IBP modules.
• Implement exception-based alerts, dashboard analytics, and KPIs for real-time supply chain monitoring and decision-making.
• Integrate SAP IBP with upstream and downstream systems using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI/HCI).
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and supply chain stakeholders to translate planning requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support testing, data validation, and deployment of IBP functionalities in line with agile delivery practices.
• Monitor solution performance and drive continuous improvement through system tuning and functional enhancements.
• Contribute to documentation, training, and knowledge transfer within the global planning community.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP development across at least one or more modules: Supply Chain Control Tower, Demand Planning, or Inventory Planning.
• Solid understanding of IBP data models, planning areas, key figures, time profiles, and master data integration.
• Proficiency in SAP IBP tools including Excel Add-In, Fiori UI, and configuration of planning operators and analytics.
• Experience with SAP CPI/HCI for system integration and knowledge of BADI/user exit enhancements within IBP.
• Familiarity with supply chain planning processes in regulated industries such as life sciences or pharmaceuticals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in global delivery environments.
