Position Overview


KN Engineering Works is a leading manufacturer of rolling mill machinery and turnkey solutions for steel plants worldwide. We are looking for a motivated Sales and Marketing Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director , gain first hand exposure to large scale international projects , and develop rapidly into a senior sales role.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the Managing Director in business development, client acquisition, and key account management .
  • Assist in preparing technical offers, proposals, and project quotations for steel plants and turnkey rolling mill solutions.
  • Engage with clients to understand technical requirements and coordinate with design and engineering teams to deliver solutions.
  • Participate in domestic and international client meetings, negotiations, and project discussions .
  • Conduct research to identify new markets, clients, and growth opportunities in the steel sector.
  • Maintain CRM data, prepare reports, and track project status for ongoing and potential clients.
  • Support execution of large-scale turnkey projects , coordinating across procurement, production, and project teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with industry stakeholders and provide after-sales technical support when required.



Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Experience in the rolling mill industry or steel plant equipment sales is preferred.
  • Strong interest in sales, industrial machinery, and large-scale engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to ERP/CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and willing to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience).
