  • Familiarity withPower BI administration and workspace management.

  • DatabaseManagement Skills: Proficient in database administrationperformance tuning query optimization and data modeling.
  • SQL Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL includingcomplex query writing and optimization.
  • CloudServices Proficiency: Experience with cloud computing services(e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and understanding how they integratewith Snowflake.
  • Data Warehousing: Indepthknowledge of data warehousing principles and handson experiencewith ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes.
  • Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in scriptinglanguages such as Python or JavaScript particularly in the contextof database manipulation and automation.
  • APIDevelopment Experience: Proven experience in developing RESTful andSOAP APIs.

  • Bachelorsdegree in computer science Information Technology or relatedfield.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability toarticulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and workcollaboratively in a team environment.

DetailedResponsibilities
  • Maintain andoptimize Snowflake databases to ensure high performance andreliability.
  • Prioritize all dashboard anddatabase related incidents.
  • Handling a diversearray of technical compliancerelated issues associated to theplatform and will be expected to work
  • Diagnosetroubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve databaseorchestration and reporting Snowflake PowerBI ServiceNOW relatedissues.
  • Develop control automation platformdatabase / reporting requirements.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to develop and enhance controlautomation platforms working effectively with technical resources(DBA developers).
  • Design and implementdatabase schemas queries and store procedures providing support fordatabase design implementation and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient dataflow and storage.
  • Implement security measuresto safeguard database integrity and sensitiveinformation.
  • Participate in the planning anddevelopment of future phases of the control automationplatform.
  • Understand and use JIRA includinghow to update escalate and resolve incidents.
  • Report software issues to the Cyber Security and CloudData Cloud / Snowflake Team via documented processes and proceduresincluding replicating the issue when possible and performing alldue diligence.
  • Identify common issues andresolutions for addition to Knowledge Base.
  • Create process flows and key documentation aroundoperational procedures.
  • Engineer solutions anddefine tasks for effective and timely operational monitoringsupport change and recovery.
  • Demand ManagementWork to understand divisional risk champions business needs aboveand beyond the immediate requirements.
