We are a Cloud FinOps startup focused on helping businesses save Cloud costs, avoid waste, improve efficiency, and optimize their RoI on Cloud Spend. Our vision is to build OneLens as one of the industry-leading Cloud FinOps platforms. We have the backing of a global institutional investor and raised pre-seed funding.
Role Overview :
We are seeking a Principal Engineer with a passion for Cloud and Software Efficiency. The individual will be responsible for researching, defining, and designing Rules and Policies as part of our OneLens platform. These rules and policies would be used to automatically detect inefficiencies, optimization opportunities, and waste in customer AWS environments. A trivial example would be to read resource meta-data and usage to find all resources which are idle and unused.
Requirements :
- 8+ years of experience with an Engineering Degree in Computer Science.
- Experience in building and delivering scalable and performant software applications on AWS platform.
- Experience building web applications, APIs, and analytical applications.
- Good exposure to running and optimizing streaming and database systems.
- Expertise in deploying on AWS, Cloud Native (Kubernetes), and Serverless platforms.
- Deep understanding of various AWS services across compute, databases, analytics, serverless, AI etc.
- Experience in Performance Engineering, Cloud Cost, and Resource Usage Optimization.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions.
