UI/UX Designer (Web Design)

Mission

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX designer with experience in web design, UI/UX strategy development, and Wix website management to enhance our digital presence.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, web design best practices, and Wix platform capabilities.

The candidate should be able to create and execute UI/UX strategies that align with our brand and business objectives, and manage our website on the Wix platform effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Improve the overall UI/UX on all our websites and other digital footprints to elevate user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement UI/UX strategies that align with our brand and business objectives.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web pages and applications that meet user needs and business goals.
  • Manage and maintain our website on the Wix platform, ensuring it is up-to-date, optimized for search engines, and aligned with our branding and business goals.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging web design trends and best practices and incorporate them into the UI/UX strategy.
  • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure design concepts are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
  • Designing, testing, and implementing various UI elements, landing pages, page flows etc to improve user experience.

Requirement

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, human-computer interaction, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in web design and UI/UX strategy development.
  • Expertise in designing for the web, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates a solid understanding of web design principles, visual design, and user-centered design.
  • Strong skills in Wix website management, including design customization, page optimization, and search engine optimization.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or other design tools.
  • Familiarity with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insight.
