Role & responsibilities :

  • Develop and qualify WPS / PQR as per ASME / AWS / ISO standards.
  • Prepare and maintain Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) records.
  • Provide technical guidance to welders and supervisors.
  • Select suitable welding processes, materials, and consumables.
  • Monitor welding quality, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) and repair procedures is required.

Preferred candidate profile:

Welding Engineer, WPS, PQR, WPQ, PWHT, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, ASME, AWS, ISO, API, Welding Processes, Welding Codes, Fabrication, Pressure Vessels, Oil & Gas, Heat Exchangers, Mechanical Engineering.
