Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our web applications, APIs, and microservices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing , with strong domain knowledge in financial services or banking applications . Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Conduct manual and automated functional, regression, performance , and security testing . Test RESTful APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Perform UI testing for React or modern web applications using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Jest . Design or extend automation frameworks based on POM, Hybrid , or data-driven models. Collaborate closely with development teams to review requirements and debug issues. Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA . Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous testing. Analyze flaky test failures and improve stability using advanced troubleshooting techniques. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA knowledge sharing sessions. Eligibility Criteria Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 4–8 years in software QA/testing, with a mix of manual and automation experience. Technical Skills: Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Jest (any combination), TestNG. API Testing: Postman, Swagger. Performance Testing: jMeter (preferred). Automation Frameworks: POM, Data-Driven, Hybrid Frameworks. Languages/Technologies: Java (preferred), JavaScript (for front-end tests). CI/CD Integration: Jenkins or similar tools for pipeline automation. Version Control: Git – must be familiar with branching, pull requests, and code merges. Bug Tracking/PM Tools: JIRA, Trello (or similar). Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in banking or financial services domain (highly preferred). Other Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills (e.g., handling dynamic elements, flaky tests). Effective verbal and written communication. Collaborative mindset – comfortable working with developers, QA peers, and product teams. Proactive attitude and quick adaptability to new tools and practices.
