Role Overview Description

Job Description
We are looking for an SEO Research Specialist who will play a key role in fuelling our sales pipeline. This role blends research, AI-driven efficiency, and communication skills, youll not only identify and organize potential leads but also assist in note-taking, demo support, and pitching preparation. Youll be working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, learning how to leverage AI tools for research and content drafting, manage Google Workspace tasks for smooth operations, and contribute directly to outreach and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored for e-commerce growth.
• Perform keyword research with a focus on transactional and commercial search intent.
• Optimize category, product, and landing pages for organic search.

Technical SEO

• Conduct regular technical audits (crawl errors, indexation, canonicalization, site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile-friendliness).
• Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and internal linking for scalability.
• Collaborate with developers to implement schema markup, structured data, and ensure SEO-friendly migrations.
• Manage SEO hygiene on large product catalogs (faceted navigation, duplicate content, pagination).

Content SEO

• Create and optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, alt text, structured data).
• Work with content teams to build SEO-driven blogs, guides, and product copy.
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice while ranking for targeted keywords.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance through GA4, GSC, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Report regularly on keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and ROI.
• Use insights to refine strategies for growth.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with performance marketing, merchandising, and product teams to align SEO with broader growth goals.
• Partner with developers and designers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in site builds and updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SEO with a focus on e-commerce websites.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, sitemaps, ).
• Experience with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms.
• Proficiency in SEO and analytics tools: GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Ability to manage large product catalogs and optimize at scale.

Good to Have

• Experience with international SEO and multilingual sites.
• Knowledge of structured content strategies (FAQs, how-to guides, content hubs).
• Exposure to CRO and A/B testing.
