Job Title: SME – FinTech GenAI

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with deep expertise in the equity market and experience managing BFSI sector financials. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of sector-specific data, company financials, and accounting standards. This role requires exceptional analytical and communication skills, a strong customer focus, and proven experience in team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze and interpret company financials, focusing on the BFSI sector.
  • Develop and maintain sector-specific data/metrics to support financial analysis.
  • Review and enhance financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with USGAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Generate detailed financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.

Data Management & Metrics:

  • Track and drive client-defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal performance metrics.
  • Utilize advanced MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to manage and analyze financial data effectively.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of at least 15 team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Oversee team performance, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and client expectations.

Creative Problem Solving:

  • Design and execute experiments to test financial hypotheses and interpret results creatively.
  • Address and resolve financial issues with innovative solutions and strategic thinking.

Customer Focus:

  • Maintain a strong focus on customer needs and deliver high-quality financial insights and support.
  • Take ownership of projects and drive results to meet or exceed client and company expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with specific experience in the BFSI sector.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of equity market finance, company financials, financial metrics, and ratios. Proficiency in USGAAP and IFRS.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS-Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
