Be Agile, Test Driven and a highly technical performance tester. Steering the direction of the performance test framework. You will work directly with Technical Architects and define performance test approach, write test plans but can still deliver hands on technically. Analyse competitive products and technologies with appropriate suggestions to influence product / technology direction. Collaborate with test and development engineers on application & testing architecture, to ensure that the approaches and technologies applied to the current implementation are sound and fit for purpose. Coordinating performance test activities within projects, including planning and delivering the test phases on time and within budget while meeting all quality objectives. Understanding of programming principles and best practice (e.G. DRY, SOLID for creating re-usable code, best practice etc). Own the end to end code quality and code performance KPI’s. Proactive monitoring of Production estate code.Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum of 7+ years of experience3+ years of proven experience as a Performance TesterProficiency in performance testing tools such as Jmeter & BalzemeterKnowledge of different types of performance testing, such as load testing, stress testing, endurance testing, spike testing, volume testing, and scalability testingExpertise in testing methodologies, test techniques and agile QA practicesExperience in defining and creating API mocking/stubbingGood communication skills of test status across engineering team and stakeholdersAble to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications, Mobile application, API's, Web services and at Server levelDesign and execute daily load BVTs as well as larger, system Integration level testsAnalyze data gathered from performance tests. Able to identify & highlight performance bottlenecksBackground in DevOps tooling for execution of performance tests such as Jenkins, GIT, PAAS, Monitoring / Log aggregationLine Management of squads various performance team membersWorking knowledge of JIRA / Confluence
