Techno-Functional

) to join our

Caterpillar IT division.The incumbent would be primarily responsible for across techno-functional lines with individuals assigned in new program development and/or maintenance of existing Excalibur SAP Solution: SAP S4 HANA, SPP, GATP, CCv2. Provides oversight in the delivery of various aftermarket parts demand management projects.Type of Work:

Solution Design, align with Business Analysts (BA) and provide Level 4 Technical Support for: Excalibur SAP Applications (SAP S4 HANA, including EWM and TM modules, SAP SPP and GATP SAP CCv2, plus integrations with other Caterpillar SAP and non-SAP systems).The preference for this role is to be based out of

Whitefield Office, Bangalore, IndiaWhat you will doJob Roles and ResponsibilitiesSolution GovernancePerforming validation and sign-off of business requirements and 3rd Party deliverables (i.e. coding, testing, documentation)DesignCollaborating with BAs to capture business requirements, impact analysis and working with 3rd party to identify time/cost delivery estimates.Documenting technical specifications for solution developmentDocumenting master data requirements for solution development, testing, and executionCollaborating with BAs to capture test scenarios for solution validation (i.e. unit, string, integration, and UAT)Representing solution during design reviews prior to development hand-offVendor Management, as needed for business unit pull efforts.Directing 3rd Party providers regarding development, testing, and documentation tasksProviding direction and clarity to resolve issues encountered with solution delivery.Level 4 SupportProviding process / deep technical support to facilitate resolution of production incidents.Ensuring change requests are appropriate and consistent with Excalibur SAP application roadmaps and compliance controls.CommunicationWorking with Cat partners, GIS peers, and 3rd Party providersProviding weekly updates regarding status, risk, issues to business unit and GIS leadershipWhat you will have3+ Years’ techno-functional experience with SAP3+ Years’ experience in gathering business requirements and developing functional/technical specifications.5+ Years’ experience in project leadershipFamiliarity with SAP ERP solutions used in CAT (i.e. Excalibur, MACH1, CGM, CBS, eSAP, OMP)Very strong analytical skillsVery good written communication and documentation skillsGood oral communication and interpersonal skills – multilingual (English is key)High customer focusGood planning & organizing skills.Process-oriented.Desired Qualifications:Extensive experience in SAP S4 HANA, SPP and GATP modules preferredExperience in SAP Development (ABAP, CDS, BOPF, Odata, Fiori)Understanding of SAP configuration logic (SPRO)SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN)Experience in SAP UpgradesPrevious experience in managing, and executing, an integrated testing planUnderstanding of TIDAL job schedulingDevelopment & support system hierarchy and implementation pathsStrong project leadership & management skillsKnowledge of Caterpillar products, policies, and proceduresSkills desired:

Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.Level Extensive Experience:• Plays an active or leading role in recording and storing requirement documents in various forms.• Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage.• Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use cases.• Produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation.• Trains others on requirements walkthroughs and quality reviews.• Utilizes automated diagramming tools to ensure traceability of requirements.
