Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the hospital's objectives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.


2. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing.


3. Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, optimizing stock levels to meet the unit's needs while minimizing waste and excess.


4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in healthcare procurement, including adherence to ethical and legal procurement practices.


5. Cost Management: Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and cost containment without compromising the quality of care.


6. Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance department to create and manage the unit's procurement budget, tracking expenditures and reporting on variances.


7. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured items meet quality and safety standards, conducting regular quality checks and inspections.


8. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor procurement staff, providing guidance and training as needed.


9.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare procurement regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.


Must criteria


  • Must possess strong knowledge about Pharmaceuticals, Medical Consumables and Implants
  • Must be having strong knowledge and hands on experience on Excel & PPT
  • Must have a minimum experience of 5 years or more.
