You work closely with internal stakeholders and IT teams to ensure, that Supply Chain 4.0 technologies are creating business value and supporting our journey to become a leading global MedTech company. With expertise, You are responsible to manage Supply Chain relevant data analytics aspects, including data attributes, and contribute in projects to increase our data maturity.
Below are the roles & responsibilities are:
Identify and Analyse data requirements for analytics and business intelligence usage
Contribute in strategic and tactical projects as Subject Matter Expert to drive data driven decision making
Defines specific standards, develops guidelines for usage for the respective attributes, including underlying business requirements
Provides reports for data quality management and steers/ guides operations teams to execute operation tasks/ improvements and/or conducts operation tasks/ improvements individually
Supports analysis of escalated data quality issues; suggests mitigation execution and executes
Supports with training/ enablement for global teams to secure data governance structures on a sustainable basis
Supports workstreams in strategic projects within the Data domain and ensures collaboration in project and day-by-day operation with impacted projects.
Serves as single point of contact for assigned data attributes/data segment(s)(Main area: Logistics, Trade, Planning)
Acts proactively with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance overall data architecture at Olympus
Minimum Qualification & Requirements:
5 to 10 years of SCM experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in business intelligence, data analytics, insights generation and data management.
Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/ or training
Demonstrated experience in global organization with intercultural/ mgmt. skills
Experience in common technical skills/ techniques (SQL, ETL), data warehouses/ data lakes (MS Azure), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Possess understanding of key operations-related SCM business process (e.g., PLAN, SOURCE, MAKE, DELIVER) and performance management
Strong facilitation, consultation, and convening skills and project experience. Training and change management experience is a plus
Confidence in presenting to various audiences, in English, Japanese a plus
Excellent levels of spoken and written English and experience preparing reports
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and productive relationships
Well-organized, with project management skills and an ability to establish and work to priorities
Ability and willingness to travel (max 20%)
