Position: General Manager – West, North & East Cluster (Job Placements)
Location: Cluster-Based | Full-Time | Leadership Role
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and performance-driven General Manager (GM) to lead job placement initiatives across the West, North & East clusters of India. The GM will be accountable for placement targets, employer partnerships, MIS reporting, and operational excellence across multiple states.
This role demands a leader who can scale placements, manage a large team, and ensure accurate reporting to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership Develop & execute cluster-specific job placement strategies aligned with national goals.
Increase placement numbers by expanding employer base and deepening existing partnerships.
Collaborate with training & mobilization teams to align candidate readiness with employer demand.
Employer Engagement & Partnerships Build, expand & sustain partnerships with corporates, MSMEs, and industry bodies.
Drive large-scale hiring initiatives through job fairs, campus drives, and bulk recruitment tie-ups.
Explore new opportunities in emerging sectors and non-traditional employment markets.
Team Management & Reporting Structure Lead and mentor regional placement officers, cluster leads, and coordinators.
Establish clear reporting lines, ensuring timely communication from placement Team.
Drive accountability by setting KPIs, weekly reviews, and monthly performance appraisals.
MIS, Monitoring & Reporting Oversee daily, weekly & monthly MIS reporting for placement activities.
Track and analyse job offers, joining ratios, retention, and employer satisfaction.
Present cluster performance dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and action plans.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance in all reporting mechanisms.
Performance & Growth Achieve and consistently exceed placement targets across all three clusters.
Introduce innovative models for scaling placements – regional drives, digital hiring platforms, and employer consortiums.
Ensure sustainability of placements through post-placement tracking and employer feedback loops.
What We're Looking For
Education & Qualification:
- Master's degree in Management (MBA/PGDM), Human Resources, or related fields is required.
- Additional certifications in HR Analytics, Workforce Development, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
- Strong preference for candidates with a blend of corporate HR exposure and social sector experience.
10–12 years of experience in workforce development, placements, or HR operations.
Strong track record of driving high-volume placements across multiple regions.
Expertise in MIS systems, data analytics, and reporting dashboards.
Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams across geographies.
Strong industry networks and relationship management skills.
Passion for impact-driven workforce development.
