Job Description: As the Lead QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our QA team and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective QA strategies, processes, and tools. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success and professional growth.
  • and implement QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and ensure product quality.
  • and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • with development teams to identify and prioritize test cases, automate testing processes, and integrate QA into the software development lifecycle.
  • and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • and analyze test results, identify defects and areas for improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive resolution.
  • and report on QA metrics, including test coverage, defect density, and release readiness, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and software testing, and share knowledge and insights with the team.


Requirements:

  • experience in a QA leadership role, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring QA teams.
  • technical proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG etc.
  • understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices.
  • communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.
  • with performance testing, security testing, and/or other specialized testing areas is a plus.
