Role and Responsibilities:Overseeing the QA team and managing day-to-day testing activitiesDeveloping and implementing the overall QA strategyCollaborating with other business units to understand their quality needsEnsuring the quality of both product and software developmentOverseeing the selection and design of automation test casesApproving the automation test plan and overseeing its implementationEnsuring the proper configuration of the Selenium Test Environment (STE)Overseeing the design and implementation of automation frameworksManaging the defect management process and ensuring effective solutions are implemented for identified problemsInteracting with customers/clients to understand their issues and ensure their satisfactionContinually exploring and implementing new ways to improve the quality processesUpskilling the team to automation testing practices from manual testing.

Mandatory Skills:Experience in managing a QA teamKnowledge of the Agile development life-cycleExperience with Selenium and other API frameworks using PythonExperience with automation of backend testingExperience with Rest assured framework or similarExperience in setting up automated test frameworksGood exposure to tools like Git & JiraStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience in upskilling a team to automation testing practices from manual testing

Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of 7-15 years of industry experience in all types of Testing (System, Integration & Regression)Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing QA engineersProven experience in a managerial or leadership role within QA
