*Sell goods for wholesalers or manufacturers to businesses or groups* Recommend products to customers based oncustomer needs and interests * Contactregular and prospective customers to demonstrate products andsolicit orders * Estimate or quote pricescredit terms contract terms warranties delivery dates.* Provide ongoing support after sales orcontract is signed * Prepare drawingsestimates bids. * Give customers productsamples and catalogs * Develop and managedaccounts * Identify prospective customers* Attend trade shows and conferences* Participate in key professionalorganizations and societies * Arrangedelivery and installation of products * Workwith delivery and merchandise personnel to ensure customer serviceis satisfactory * Monitor market conditions* Understand product innovations in designand manufacturing * Promote and marketed newtechnologies * Keep up to date oncompetitors products prices sales. * Developand maintained business relationships with customers* Set and monitored personal salesobjectives and goals * Meet and exceededmonthly and yearly profitability goals *Develop marketing strategies and campaigns *Work with management and sales to help track execute and managesales strategy * Make recommendations basedon tracking results * Integrate and sold newproducts * Know products appropriately* Demonstrate excellent communication skillsincluding telephone proficiency * Planprepared and presented effective sales presentations* Present and maintained a professionalimage at work and in the trade * Displaydecisionmaking skills * Have strongorganizational and planning skills *Demonstrate excellent time management skills* Multitasked * Workwith operations to control labor and material expenses* Ensure timely processing of orders andflow of shipments * Compile and maintainedorder backlog and shipping info for key accounts* Understand retail math includingcalculatin markups markdowns open to buys gross margins.* Report sales activity and an accuratesales forecast to management * Planunderstood and effectively presented entire product line* Support all companies programs andpolicies * Demonstrate ability to captureand close deals * Develop and maintained anactive prospect list * Travel frequently andextensively including overnight travel * Useoccupational tools such as desktop computers laptops personalcomputers laser printers. * Valid driverslicense * Class A Commercial Drivers License(CDL) * Use data base user interface andquery software * Use desktop publishingsoftware * Use electronic mail software* Use internet browser software* Experience in office suite software
