Job Description: CNLABS, an independent and vendor-neutral interoperability lab, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Network Test Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of the lab programs focusing on Product Certifications and Regulatory Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of network equipment and solutions developed by various industry players.Responsibilities:-

Lead and execute comprehensive test programs for network equipment manufacturers, data centres, network operators, electric utilities, and smart cities.-

Develop and implement test strategies, methodologies, and procedures for ensuring product certifications and regulatory compliance.-

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, design test cases, and analyze test results.-

Utilize your strong understanding of switching, routing, and VOIP protocols to perform in-depth testing and analysis.-

Apply your programming and automation skills in Python, Perl, and Shell to develop test scripts and automate testing processes.-

Demonstrate expertise in conformance testing of TCP/IP protocols - IPv6, OSPF v2/v3, BGP v4/v6, MBGP, LDP, STP, SIP, MGCP, and other related protocols.-

Utilize your virtualization skills with platforms such as VMware, KVM, and Containers to perform network testing in virtualized environments.-

Stay up to date with emerging network technologies like SDN, NFV, and OpenStack, and contribute to testing efforts in these areas.-

Collaborate with wireless testing teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of wireless technologies.-

Possess industry certifications such as CCNP or equivalent to showcase your expertise in the field.Qualifications:-

6-8 years of prior work experience in the development or testing of networking products and solutions.-

Strong understanding of switching, routing, and VOIP protocols.-

Proficiency in programming and automation using Python, Perl, and Shell.-

In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols - IPv6, OSPF v2/v3, BGP v4/v6, MBGP, LDP, MPLS-TP, STP, SNMP, SIP, MGCP, and other related protocols.-

Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, and Containers.-

Industry certifications such as CCNP or equivalent are a must.-
