Job Title: Principal Network Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Architect to join our team at Talenton Technology Services Private Limited. As a Principal Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating network products to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architectures for cloud-native platforms and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Develop and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control lists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration files.

Requirements:

  • 14+ years of experience in network operational support, with at least 7+ years in a large enterprise or carrier space.
  • 7+ years of experience with Layer 2/3 switching and advanced routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
  • Experience with DC architectures, designs, and management in a cloud and hybrid cloud environment.
  • Experience in design and management of cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure, rearchitecting the DC environment to synergize with AWS cloud and modernizing the NW landscape.
  • Solid understanding of OSI model, routing and switching protocols, network security, IPv4 and IPv6 networking, subnetting, and operational experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications in networking, including Routing, Switching, and Security.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of security technologies, including SIEM, Firewall, DLP, and hybrid/Cloud Security environments.
