Key skill requirements:


  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Technical education – Computer Science ideally
  • Either hold CCNP certification or have a similar level of experience.
  • You will need a strong foundation in network engineering including security
  • You should have some proven project-based networking experienceExperience of working on large scale global networks in domains such as LAN, WAN, Security.
  • Be able to understand and capture business requirements and contribute to finding technical solutions for the same.


Technical Skills required:

Security Platforms

  • Check Point and Cisco ASA
  • Intermediate to expert level experience of using MDM/SMS/Gaia/ASDM/CLI, gateway policy updates, general gateway maintenance/upgrades.
  • Intermediate level experience of NAT/PAT/DNAT/SNAT/Policy, SSL, IPSEC etc.
  • Equivalent experience in other NGFW (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco Firepower etc.) will be considered.

Routing and Switching

  • Intermediate experience of BGP, OSPF, static route, VRF.
  • Intermediate to expert experience of VLANs, STP, clustering/stacking, PC/EC, VPC, VSS etc.

SDWAN

  • Intermediate level SDWAN knowledge (Cisco SDWAN, Meraki MX etc.)
  • SDWAN principle, components, feature
  • Topologies, Underlay, Overlay


Desirable

  • AWS/Azure networking (On-prem connectivity, VPC, IPSec GW etc.)
  • SDWAN deployment
  • Capacity management and planning
  • Wireless (Cisco/Meraki)
  • Linux (leveraging opensource technology)
  • Multivendor switching
  • Infrastructure (VMWare/Hyper-V)
  • Ansible/Python/Terraform/Bash scripting/automation
  • Micro segmentation using VMWare NSX or SGT/TrustSec.
