Project Role

Work directly with the client gathering requirements to align technology with business strategy and goalsResponsible for end-to-end architecture , Design , Governance , Integration specification for APIs/Apigee Gateway/Drupal portal and microservices related enhancements and changes requestsApplies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide solutions across API Gateway , Enterprise Middleware , API development, Cloud and container platform areasMap business requirements to the technical architecture design and data modelGuide Operations support /development team in resolving Apigee Gateway , Portal and OpenShift container platform related issues

Key Responsibilities : -Minimum 16 years of IT experience with 8 years in architecting , developing and delivering integration projects and minimum 3-4 years’ experience in architecting /developing Apigee API Gateway projects in private cloudHands-on development in Apigee Platform with deep implementation exposure to policies like Service Callouts, Extensions, Mediation, Security implementations using OAuth.Experience in APIGEE Hybrid deployments & exposure to related experienceWriting Open API spec and knowledge of SmartDocs/Swagger-UI and on boarding APIs to developer portal.Good understanding of component architectureExcellent knowledge of API documentationDeployment experience in following apigee platform : Apigee SaaS / Hybrid / MicrogatewayKnowledge on complete API Lifecycle Management including release & deployment, management, and creation of APIs is must haveExperience on the APIGEE EDGE platform and API proxy developmentExperience in APIGEE OPDK on-premise, debugging and troubleshooting EDGE componentsApplies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide solutions across one or more technology areaMap business requirements to the technical architecture design and data modelResponsible for end-to-end development, implementation, enhancements and production Support activities for Apigee API Gateway , APIs and microservicesShould be able to design Apigee API/ microservices and container based architectures and has working knowledge / experience on various design patterns / best practices supported by containerized architecture and microservices patternsAble to update properties & publish in Google cloud platform (GCP)Able to monitor/configure APIGEE Analytics both outbox / custom reportsAble to Publish API product to APIGEE developer portalKnowledge on any of the logging systems such as Splunk, Sumologic, ELK stack,Loggly etc.Experience using web services, API's built on SOAP or REST, using XML or JSONHands-on integration and deployment experience in multi-tier, mobile/web-based systems.The candidate has hands on experience on service discovery framework and hands on knowledge on docker containers and Kubernetes K8S stack using Redhat openshiftDeep understanding (3+ years) and working knowledge of Redhat OpenShift container architecture and designAt least 2 years exposure in working on Devops pipelines and support team to build the sameThe candidate must be able to setup and manage Kubernetes clustersThe candidate should have capability design and develop microservices as part of integration API developmentApigee platform exp, using web services, API's built on SOAP or REST, using XML or JSON,Securing data channels using tools like OAuth 2.0 is preferredDealing with API deployment, scalability, security. MonitoringExperience creating publishing and managing API proxies and policiesExperience with Continuous Integration Tools like JenkinsExperience with getting APIs micro services published to gatewayExposure in adapting/configuring Jenkins jobs using existing pipeline scripts for Deploying new API proxy configuration items using Devops CI/CD pipelines .API spec & Apigee flow design Javascript, JavaAware of Cloud technologies Tanzu, AWS, GCP, ELK and DevOps toolsAssist in the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of a software rollout. Reviews design documents and provides feedback on approach and estimates.Knowledge around following tools and frameworks is highly desirableLinux experienceNetwork topology and architecture understandingDatabase administration knowledge on Cassandra and PostgreSQL DBDBA Admin knowledge on MySQL – Data Modelling, Database and Schema Maintenance, Database Auditing, Indexing, Sequencing, Backups and Data Archiving, Cassandra and PostgreSQL DBProficiency in web technology e.g. PHP, jQuery, AJAX. CSS, Html, PHP, MySQL, Postgres and Drupal 9 experienceCI/CD Pipeline and AppDynamics knowledge, Bitbucket Versioning knowledge, CI/CD Tools Support (Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Nexus).APIGEE certified professional API engineer (Preferred)
