Role : Apigee Architect

Experience : 16 + Years

Location: Chennai


Key Responsibilities :

¿ Minimum 16 years of IT experience with 8 years in architecting , developing and delivering integration projects and minimum 3 4 years experience in architecting /developing Apigee API Gateway projects in private cloud

¿ Hands on development in Apigee Platform with deep implementation exposure to policies like Service Callouts, Extensions, Mediation, Security implementations using OAuth.

¿ Experience in APIGEE Hybrid deployments & exposure to related experience

¿ Writing Open API spec and knowledge of SmartDocs/Swagger UI and on boarding APIs to developer portal.

¿ Good understanding of component architecture

¿ Excellent knowledge of API documentation

¿ Deployment experience in following apigee platform : Apigee SaaS / Hybrid / Microgateway

¿ Knowledge on complete API Lifecycle Management including release & deployment, management, and creation of APIs is must have

¿ Experience on the APIGEE EDGE platform and API proxy development

¿ Experience in APIGEE OPDK on premise, debugging and troubleshooting EDGE components

¿ Applies in depth or broad technical knowledge to provide solutions across one or more technology area

¿ Map business requirements to the technical architecture design and data model

¿ Responsible for end to end development, implementation, enhancements and production Support activities for Apigee API Gateway , APIs and microservices

¿ Should be able to design Apigee API/ microservices and container based architectures and has working knowledge / experience on various design patterns / best practices supported by containerized architecture and microservices patterns

¿ Able to update properties & publish in Google cloud platform (GCP)

¿ Able to monitor/configure APIGEE Analytics both outbox / custom reports

¿ Able to Publish API product to APIGEE developer portal

¿ Knowledge on any of the logging systems such as Splunk, Sumologic, ELK stack,Loggly etc.

¿ Experience using web services, API's built on SOAP or REST, using XML or JSON

¿ Hands on integration and deployment experience in multi tier, mobile/web based systems.

¿ The candidate has hands on experience on service discovery framework and hands on knowledge on docker containers and Kubernetes K8S stack using Redhat openshift

¿ Deep understanding (3+ years) and working knowledge of Redhat OpenShift container architecture and design

¿ At least 2 years exposure in working on Devops pipelines and support team to build the same

¿ The candidate must be able to setup and manage Kubernetes clusters

¿ The candidate should have capability design and develop microservices as part of integration API development

¿ Apigee platform exp, using web services, API's built on SOAP or REST, using XML or JSON,

¿ Securing data channels using tools like OAuth 2.0 is preferred

¿ Dealing with API deployment, scalability, security. Monitoring

¿ Experience creating publishing and managing API proxies and policies

¿ Experience with Continuous Integration Tools like Jenkins

¿ Experience with getting APIs micro services published to gateway

¿ Exposure in adapting/configuring Jenkins jobs using existing pipeline scripts for Deploying new API proxy configuration items using Devops CI/CD pipelines .

¿ API spec & Apigee flow design Javascript, Java

¿ Aware of Cloud technologies Tanzu, AWS, GCP, ELK and DevOps tools

¿ Assist in the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of a software rollout. Reviews design documents and provides feedback on approach and estimates.

¿ Knowledge around following tools and frameworks is highly desirable

o Linux experience

o Network topology and architecture understanding

o Database administration knowledge on Cassandra and PostgreSQL DB

o DBA Admin knowledge on MySQL

¿ Data Modelling, Database and Schema Maintenance, Database Auditing, Indexing, Sequencing, Backups and Data Archiving, Cassandra and PostgreSQL DB

o Proficiency in web technology e.g. PHP, jQuery, AJAX. CSS, Html, PHP, MySQL, Postgres and Drupal 9 expe
