Summary:

As the KYC Analyst Head, you will lead our KYC team in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while maintaining the highest standards of due diligence. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the KYC analysts, overseeing customer onboarding processes, and mitigating risk exposure.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of KYC analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the customer onboarding process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of KYC due diligence.
  • Review and approve KYC files prepared by analysts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement KYC procedures and guidelines in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of changes in KYC regulations and industry best practices and ensure that the team is informed and trained accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as compliance, legal, and risk management, to address KYC-related issues and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct periodic quality assurance reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistency in KYC processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on KYC activities, key metrics, and compliance status to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification
  • years of experience in KYC compliance within the finance industry.
  • years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of KYC regulations and requirements, including AML/CFT laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to review and analyze complex customer information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with experience using KYC software and tools preferred.
