Dius Design Consultants Pvt Ltd is a Chennai-based architectural and engineering firm known for its diverse portfolio across industrial, commercial, and interior fit-out projects. We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our team and contribute to the design of buildings and interiors across varied project scales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing architectural concepts and detailed designs for building and interior projects
  • Prepare presentation drawings, working drawings, and GFC sets under senior supervision
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams for design integration
  • Conduct site visits for design intent verification, snag checks, and progress reviews
  • Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and support client presentations
  • Research materials, products, and emerging design solutions
  • Support statutory documentation and drawing submissions where required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution
  • 0–3 years of experience in architecture/interior design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office; Revit is a plus
  • Strong design sense with a keen eye for detailing and proportions
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute across disciplines
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of building codes and interior detailing practices
  • Exposure to site coordination and consultant interfacing
  • Interest in sustainability, adaptive reuse, and functional planning
