About the Role:
- As Oracle SQL Developer you will be part of a Global Multinational carrier network for Voice, Mobile and IOT.
- Responsibility will include day to day monitoring and smooth running of the application. Production support in the event of issues. To be able to analyze, identify the root cause and fix it.
- Responsible for the detailed design and development of SQL. PL/SQL Application/ modules for the company’s databases.
- Responsible for managing multiple technical development projects and providing guidance to other colleagues.
- Be independent and selflearn, confident and with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Database Objects to maintain the organizational data and maintain the integrity of the relational data.
- Design, document and implement Database procedures and complex queries to retrieve data for different needs of the organization.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of the database to the management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
- Review procedures in the database management system manuals for making changes to the database.
- Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate the time and cost required to accomplish the project.
- Provide production support.
- Excellent communication skills and being a team player.
You’ll Bring:
- B Tech in Computer Science or Engineering or Master's.
- Must be skilled at establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, function and physical attributes.
- 5+ years’ experience with Oracle Database Development, strong PL/SQL programming and performance tuning.
- 3+ years of experience in modeling Databases.
- Experience in working on all stages of projects: design, development, unit testing, UAT, production implementation and support.
- Experience with UNIX and scripting languages, K-Shell is a must. Experience in Groovy is a huge plus.
- APEX knowledge in a plus.
- knowledge in the Telecom business is a plus
- Experience working with a wiki and Jira is a plus.
