Role :

Develop and maintain MongoDB databases and clusters :

Design and implement MongoDB architecture :


- Senior developers will be responsible for designing the overall database architecture, including data modeling, sharding, and replication strategies.


Collaborate with the application team :


- They will work closely with application developers to understand their needs and ensure that the database is designed and implemented to support the application effectively.


Optimize performance and ensure high availability :


- This includes identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, ensuring that the database is always available, and implementing disaster recovery plans.


Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in MongoDB and related technologies :


- The field is constantly evolving, so senior developers need to be proactive in staying up-to-date with the latest features and best practices.


Required Skills :


- Strong experience with MongoDB :


- This typically includes 3-5+ years of experience working with MongoDB in a professional setting.


Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture and technology :


- Senior developers need to have a thorough understanding of how MongoDB works, including its query language, aggregation framework, and storage engine.


Programming languages :


- Proficiency in a programming language commonly used with MongoDB, such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Java.


Database management systems :


- A solid understanding of database management systems in general, including relational databases and NoSQL databases.


Version control systems :


- Experience with using Git or other version control systems to manage code changes.


Problem-solving and analytical skills :


- The ability to identify and troubleshoot database problems, as well as analyze data to identify trends and patterns.


Communication skills :

- MongoDB Associate Developer/Administrator- certification is mandatory.
