We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer  to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our solar projects.

Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer  specializing in solar plant projects, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems for large-scale solar power plants. This role requires expertise in renewable energy, grid connections, and power generation to ensure the successful execution of our solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

System Design and Engineering :

  • Develop detailed electrical system designs, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and specifications.
  • Design and optimize solar PV systems, including inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Perform energy yield assessments and system performance modeling using industry-standard software.

Grid Connection and Compliance :

  • Ensure designs meet local and international electrical codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with utilities for grid connection requirements, including load flow studies and interconnection agreements.

Project Support :

  • Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and vendor submissions.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure installation quality and compliance with designs.

Testing and Commissioning :

  • Develop testing and commissioning protocols for electrical systems.
  • Oversee the commissioning of solar PV systems, ensuring optimal performance.

Innovation and Optimization :

  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay updated on advancements in solar PV systems, storage solutions, and grid integration.
Qualifications
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience : Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical design, specifically in solar PV projects.
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Proficiency in designing and modeling solar PV systems using tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and monitoring technologies.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
