Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Training and New Operations Set Up for our Warehouse Operations, with a primary focus on developing and implementing robust training programs for all of our warehouses, ensuring process adherence, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, minimizing errors, and optimizing overall warehouse performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Training Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement training programs for warehouse staff, covering aspects such as safety procedures, equipment operation, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure training materials are current, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Process Adherence:

  • Establish and enforce standardized processes to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the adherence of warehouse staff to established processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

New Operations Setup and Handover:

  • Oversee the setup and operationalization of new warehouse facilities, ensuring smooth transitions and handovers.
  • Develop and implement detailed plans for the integration of new operations into existing workflows, minimizing disruptions and ensuring consistency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation related to warehouse processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and defects in warehouse processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and initiate corrective actions when deviations are identified.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Training and Development is a plus.
  • 4-5 years of proven experience in training and process improvement along with ground operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven decisions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to various warehouse locations for fresh and refresher trainings.
