Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Freight Forwarding Pricing specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and determining the most cost-effective and efficient methods for transporting goods for USA . You will work closely with clients, carriers, and internal departments to ensure accurate and competitive pricing, while also maintaining profitability for our company.
As a Freight Forwarding Pricing specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our company succeed in the fast-paced and ever-changing logistics industry. Your exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to negotiate will be essential in ensuring our clients receive the best pricing options available. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of transportation modes, international regulations, and market trends to effectively assess and price shipments.
Responsibilities
* Analyze transportation costs and negotiate rates with carriers to provide competitive pricing options to clients
* Maintain accurate pricing data in the company's systems and databases
* Collaborate with sales and operations teams to provide pricing recommendations and solutions
* Monitor market conditions and industry trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly
* Review and analyze pricing contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and profitability
* Respond to pricing inquiries and provide timely and accurate quotes to clients
* Resolve pricing discrepancies and disputes in a timely and professional manner
* Stay up-to-date with international regulations and requirements to ensure proper pricing for shipments
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* Previous experience in freight forwarding or pricing analysis preferred
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
* Detail-oriented and highly organized
* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of transportation modes, international regulations, and market trends
