The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in IBM z/OS environments, and other subsystems. along with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and modernization strategies.Key Responsibilities:Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and secure mainframe solutions.Define and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and governance for mainframe systems.Drive mainframe modernization initiatives including re-platforming, re-hosting, and API enablement.Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to support teams.Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.Required Skills:20+ years of experience in mainframe technologies, in-depth knowledge of z/OS.Proven experience in mainframe architecture and modernization strategies.Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and middleware.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with tools like IBM z/OS Connect, Micro Focus, or OpenText for modernization.Experience with multiple clients (shared services) and T&T is highly valued.
